Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

This policy applies to all training programmes, workshops, courses, certifications, and events booked through our website.

Cooling-Off Period (Within 24 Hours of Booking)

Participants may cancel their training booking within 24 hours from the time of successful payment without penalty, provided the training has not commenced and no training materials or access credentials have been issued.

  • A full refund will be issued.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business daysto the original payment method.

Cancellation After 24 Hours

If a cancellation request is made after 24 hours from booking:

  • A cancellation fee of 20% of the total training fee will be charged.
  • The remaining balance (80%) is refundable only if the cancellation is made at least 14 calendar days before the training start date.

Late Cancellation (Within 14 Days of Training)

Cancellations made within 14 days prior to the training start date are not refundable, due to:

  • Trainer allocation
  • Venue or platform commitment
  • Administrative and assessment preparation costs

Non-Refundable & Non-Deferrable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable and non-deferrable:

  • Training seats purchased at promotional, discounted, or early-bird rates
  • Assessment fees, certification fees, digital badges, or examination charges
  • Training programmes where learning materials, LMS access, or digital resources have already been issued
  • Event tickets, conferences, and seminars

Rescheduling / Transfer of Participation

  • Requests to reschedule or transfer participation to another training date may be considered subject to availability.
  • Requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the training start date.
  • A rescheduling or administrative fee may apply.
  • Transfers are valid within the same programme category and are subject to management approval.

No-Show Policy

Participants who fail to attend the training without prior written notice will be classified as No-Show.

  • No refunds or rescheduling will be granted.
  • Full training fees remain payable.

Cancellation by Thames Oxford Academy

Thames Oxford Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a training programme due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. trainer unavailability, insufficient enrolment, force majeure).

In such cases, participants may choose:

  • A full refund,
  • or Transfer to an alternative training date or equivalent programme
